    We are happy that another festival has found its place in the eventful autumn cinema season. CineLibri celebrates the love between films and literature for the sixth time from October 18 to November 8 with 45 titles and more than 300 live and online screenings, fused with the classic Flaberov title Education of feelings.

  • Sofia Film Fest 2020: Spring

    12 - 31 March 2020
    Five of all people who buy their cinema ticket in a can will open it and find a golden pass for the whole Sofia Film Fest inside, but even if we're not among them, we still win. From March 12th to 31st the festival shows old-but-gold films, new Bulgarian productions and selected animated, documentary and feature films from all around the world, including some already awarded movies that we've waited so patiently to reach our screens (we're looking at you, Parasite!).

  • All That Musical

    The Fest is part of Cinemania and ranks 8 titles from the greatest musicals from the 70's to the present. We watch them in nine consecutive days in Lumiere Lidl, where the fest is opening with the classic from 1972 with 8 Oscars - Cabaret. Entrance is 6-8lv.

  • Day of Bulgarian Cinema

    January 13 is traditionally the day of filmmakers. And this year is not to be missed, as Odeon, House of Cinema, G8, Lumiere and Euro Cinema have prepared the latest from the big-screen home screen. Starting on January 11, tickets are 5lv.

  • Sofia MENAR Film Festival

    For the twelfth consecutive year, the second half of January is reserved for the festival for cinema from the islamic world. The program spans over 30 documentaries, feature , short or Scandinavian films and the traditional Cervansaray, which faces writers and travelers.

  • Global Migration Film Festival

    3 documentaries, 1 short and 1 cartoon tell about Palestine, viewed from a refugee camp in Beirut; on the resettlement of Africans to the United States and England; they return to the powerful migration after World War II and show the current attitude of Europeans towards foreigners. And this is just one week of the festival, which shows us the different faces of migration from November 28 to December 18. No tickets are required.

    Woody Allen's latest romance A Rainy Day in New York, a strong wink at France, for example, with the love dramas of Claude Lellouche, classics by Franco Zeffirelli and Mosfilm plus more of the Bulgarian, foreign, animated, feature, musical, old but gold and much anticipated movies are part of Cinemania this year. The festival puts a bow tie for the official launch on November 14th with Twisted World - Marius Kurkinsky's new movie based on Nikolay Haytov's story, but it starts warming us with screenings from November 6th.
