A Look Back

A Look Back

5 March 2009 text Dima Chakarova
A few decades ago taking pictures was serious business - people marked family celebrations by going to the photo studio where the woman sat on a chair, the man stood still and both looked with tension at the lens. National Geographic magazine calls on you to open your family albums and take out your old pictures. The photos are in three categories: People and Professions, Nature and Animals and Events and Customs. The clause is the photos to be made at the end of 19th to the mid 20th century (not later than 1950) and accompanied by a brief history - who is on it, what is he/she doing, when and where is taken. After scanning the picture, save it in .jpg format with a resolution of 300dpi and size 3 - 5MB. Then send it to nationalgeographic@sanomabliasak.bg. From 3 March to 6 May the readers will pick up the most interesting ones.
