A lot of people remained stunned when the Finnish hard rock monsters Lordi won the Eurovision 2006. But we have to admit it - they deserve the attention paid to them. The combination of horror costumes and heavy guitars is not something new, but they have perfected it to the last detail. The band is especially good when playing live. Just before their concert in Paris we called bass player Ox, who promised us that the Lordi spectacle in Sofia on 6 March will be terrific.

Varna was left without a stage for underground music, because the only club, where metal, ska, punk and hip-hop bands could play, was closed by the municipality – Area 51. Due to one of the owners – Georgi Pehlivanov (Crowfish, A-Moral), young people in Varna need a stage, so Area 51 – II is coming soon!

Mindown is a band with a solid musical experience, a lot of performances on the stage, one realized album and only positive feedback in the forums. Actually, it now applies mainly to Anton Sariev – frontman and founder of the group, as the other musicians there often change. Dedicated to the Mindown idea already ten years, Anton is not refusing to seek, to experiment, to try to implement his ideas. He does not want to be a media star and prefers to play only for the real fans.

Of Whiskey and peanuts and Live the Revolution, they always are seeking the spirit. Can you with describe them with one word? The word is "freedom" and her voice is Erol.

We begin this conversation because of the upcoming jazz concert in club Geppy. The initiative, in its large part, and the implementation is due to the leading musical figure in it - Georgi Kornazov [trombone]. He arrived from France, where he lives and works. The musician will present the Bulgarian version of the new project. Rumen Toskov [piano], Hristo Yotzov [drums], Georgi Donchev [bass] will join the event.

HMSU are probably the best in making flyers and that fact can’t pass unnoticed around us. Because of their Drum’n’Jazz on 29 November we decided to go deeper into the theme and understand who is to blame for their amazing graphic decisions. We found out a couple of names but one of them stood higher – a graffiti artist once, an mc at present and a designer Georgi Kasabov. He is also known as Ndoe, Jorkata and Smotan MC. We had to call him in his lunch break to explain us how he sees graphic design and flyer culture in Bulgaria and where the hell DRS are lately.

Brooklyn hip hop monster Necro proclaims himself "most brutal rapper on the planet". He's got a point there – he's ten times more intense than Eminem was and his latest rap metal effort Death Rap is proof enough. Days before his first show in Bulgaria on 29 October Necro talks about his unconditional love for Metallica and just what's going to happen if anyone truies to disrespect him.
