Erol, how started the new year for you?
For me the new year began very quietly and rest, unlike all the 2008th. It's nice to stay at home all day, to relax and to do nothing. I gave a little rest for myself.

It's interesting how you change your style in recent years. At one time you were "set" sound, then introducing and more modern means of expression. What about Wickeda's new album?
We have about 3 new songs and working on some more 3 - 4. The album will be ready on spring. The working title of the album is Evolution. (bel. line. the first album of Wickeda is called Revolution)

What makes you to make music? Gradual accumulation of experiences or a spark, pulse?
Most often from the accumulation of events, experiences. Our music sings for our lives, which is not different from the lives of all people in Bulgaria. I think that is why people take our music live quite well, because we sing for their problems.

Come to think of your texts are so philosophical...
Yes, actually they answer the most important issues which are often before our eyes. They are very close to us. Many people are looking for them in heaven, in stars, planets... They are before their eyes! Answers are usually very simple and easy, and that is why it's difficult for person to see them, because the most difficult is to see what is in front of our eyes.

What is in front of Erol's eyes now, at this moment?
Right now I'm watching the city ... The city and its people are in front of my eyes. 

I'll ask the question in another way: what keeps you alive?
My family is first. People who love me and I love. I have a constant need to make music to pour into it. This is a necessity to me than the search of something great. To make music is a matter of survival. If I don't make music, I don't know what else I could do. Music for me is like breathing!

Which artists from contemporary rockmusic in Bulgaria you like most?
Football and chess is terribly interesting! They make very interesting music! I like Crowfish. And we tour with them. Shut up is original band.

Is the folk-pop industry (in all its forms) draw our eyebrows?
I respect any music. Each train has its passengers.

In your first album has many jazz. Where is now the jazz in Wickeda?
The jazz always present in our music, especially in live improvisation. This is the most valuable, which gave us the jazz. And always, when we are playing live, we improvise very hard!
