The one who controls the media, controls the mind. The war between media and power - this is the main subject of The 4th Power  (new series, you can watch it every Sunday at 20:45 on National TV). One of the characters - a young, beautiful and very bold journalist, is played by Mila Parusheva, who is actually not a real actress. But she is perfect for the role!

The curly and constantly hyperactive Sharon Fridman is well known for his work in Israel but has become an even more important for the Spanish contemporary dance scene that he entered at the dawn of the millenium. These days he and his team at the Compañía Sharon Fridman are on tour with their latest work Al Menos Dos Caras - and it is indeed this play that will start this year's Sofia Dance Week on October 5th. Which is as good a reason as any for a short chat with Sharon.

Marta Petkova and Nikola Hadjitanev are both children of famous, artistic parents but have not relied on that, instead concentrating on carreers of their own that have earned them local and international praise. Marta is prima ballerina and Nikola is premier soloist at Sofia's National Opera and Ballet, so evidently they have a lot to share about playing on the big stage, the difficulties before every ballet player. And lots more.

We meet the devastatingly charming Silvia Petkova mere hours after her return from a 22 day long stroll along the wildest of beaches on Bulgaria's northern seaside. Although a bit sad about the fading summer days and the need to be back in the city, Silvia talks about the popular play Tiramisu, cinema, Bulgarian TV series Revolution Z and her upcoming appearance at the Fairytales PO Box on September 14th at One More Kino.

Suzanne Farrell`s name is written with golden letters in the history of ballet together with that of legendary choreographer George Balanchinе. He created modern classical ballet and she was his muse. For a 30-year-long active career Suzanne had played 75 roles in 70 separate ballets. She visited our country to carry out the casting for her upcoming show Balanchine and Farrell- The American ballet for Bulgaria. She created the concept together with choreographers Catherine Posin and Momchil Mladenov and we will be able to see it on June 9, 10 and 11. We took the opportunity to meet her in person and show you the un-hollywood face of ballet.

Vasilena Radeva is young, but she already has Askeer, Ikar and the Stoyan Kmbrev award  for her play Nordost. We wanted to ask Vasilena so many things, so we sat on a bench on the back of Academy of Arts for almost an hour.
