Correction of the status quo

2 June 2016 text Natalia Ivanova
After we first saw the trailer of Correction, we just had to speak with his director Jiří Havelka. On the map around Bulgaria this name means a lot (especially in the Czech Republic), but here the information is written mostly in telegraphic style such as "director, host, actor and dean of faculty, aged 36". The author of this dance spectacle, which comes for the World Theatre in Sofia on 10 of June, is much more than this, considering just the prizes he won for his work.

His fight is for accessible theatre, that doesn't pretend to understand more than its audience, and that's a result of a journey, which starts with a Tolkien school play, passes through the trunk of an old Skoda and enters the basement of an old building in Prague, which sometimes gives more inspiration than the best Chekhov's play.
