    ShiZi Improv Theater again invites top Bulgarian and foreign troupes to put together a lush schedule of improvisational performances and classes. Details about the classes (some of which are already filled up, so hurry) are available on shizi.bg, otherwise for 20BGN per day or 80BGN for all the evening shows we watch several improv forms dressed in different shades of comedy.

    It will be autumn, when One Dance Week takes us to a warm and intimate place with its 16 dancing shows, but the tickets are already flying, and you have to plan a trip to Plovdiv. From September 20th to October 19th, we go through physics and politics and to a dangerous circus, while with ideas, choreography and muscles we're under the spell of companies from Poland, Belgium, Taiwan or Australia.     Between July 20th and 26th our ideas of music, dance and theater will get turned around - the sixth edition of the 180° fest (also known as the Laboratory for Innovative Art) brings a whole week of brave art experiments, always starting at 19:30, always with free entrance.

  • Opera in the Park

    The year is 2009 when Maestro Plamen Kartalov wins the stage for one of his ideas - in the summer the Sofia Opera is going out in the air. Everyone who has been at least once at the Opera in the Park knows how they are excited about these shows, and now, for his first 10, the festival has been broadcasting music around the Military Academy for audiences of (at least) three generations.

    Macbettu in Sardinia, The Seagull from Skopje, a motif of dance from the Bible and hypnotic juggling are among the newest numbers of the World Theater, which for the 13th time raises curtains in Bulgaria.
