Taboo

Taboo

Theatre play
by Carl Djerassi · Directed by Georgi Mihalkov
Scene: Petar Mitev
Cast: Valeria Kardashevska, Ivet Radulova, Todor Docev, Daniel Cochev, Nadia Konakchieva
The spectacle Taboo will never be the most important work of his author – Carl Djerassi, whose name will remain in history as that of the person who invented the anti-baby pill. However the premiere spectacle by his text is worth seeing, just only because of the serious bibliography of Carl Djerassi who is not only a scientist but a writer too. In Taboo his two identities gather in order to have a serious discussion about the connection between a parent and a child. The main question is whether parents are by default biologically connected to their children or it is possible to build such strong connection while taking care of them.
