A One Way Ticket to Home

I lived in London for almost two years without an umbrella. Due to the constant wind in this city, it's simply impossible for an umbrella to protect you from the rain - it turns into a useless piece of fabric on a long stick and you end up taking care of it instead of the other way around.

It's been a few months since I returned to Sofia and I already feel the need to buy an umbrella. For me this object turned into a symbol of all the things that acquire different meanings when you're a few hundred kilometers away from home. Returning to a city is like entering the home you grew up in but haven't lived in for a long time - you notice new things, you feel different yourself.
